Objectives of the CRFRF

These are the objectives of the CRFRF, as agreed and registered with the UK Charity Commission:

TO ADVANCE, PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF FEMALES ACROSS THE WORLD WHO HAVE SUFFERED FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION (FGM) OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF UNDERGOING FGM BY

A. PROVIDING SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE TO FEMALES WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF FGM PROCEDURE

B. ASSISTING IN TREATMENT AND CARE OF FEMALES WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF FGM PROCEDURE.

C. PROMOTING OR CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO FGM AND THE TREATMENT OF VICTIMS OF FGM.

D. PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS WITHIN THE FIELD OF FGM SURGERY TO PROMOTE GREATER AVAILABILITY OF EFFECTIVE TREATMENT.

E. ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ISSUES RELATING TO FGM.
